Social and Fundraising
Social and Fundraising Committee
There is a newly formed committee which is addressing fundraising through social activities and looks to encourage and support the many social and fundraising initiatives at St. Peter’s, and to develop new ones. Liz Baldwin has kindly offered to chair the group. We are looking not just for additional members outside the
PCC, but for ideas and suggestions. Perhaps you have come across a good idea at work or in another organisation? Perhaps you would like to join us or are able to assist at a function? Do get in touch!
Easy Fund Raising
St Peters have a cause page set up with Easyfundraising.org that if you use when buying a large variety of items online can raise donations for St Peters. The link below will take you to our page. If you click on the "Support us now" button, it will take you to a page to register your details, after you have registered, any online purchases made with participating sites providing you have entered the site via our cause page should raise money for St Peters.
RECOGNITION FOR THE BACON BUTTY TEAM!
This is a short update on the Bacon Butty project.
We now have 16 wonderful volunteers who give up a Saturday morning once a "term" to serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold drinks, or cook and make the bacon butties!!! As winter is on the way we can now provide a hot cup a soup as well!
We have had a visit from Ribble Valley health and safety officer. She inspected everything and has given us a 5 Star Rating!!
We are very proud of this status and our certificate is displayed every week on the kitchen door.
Do come and visit us any Saturday morning from 8 30am till about 11 30am and enjoy our hospitality.
